We're so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was an amazing teacher. We were able to notify some others from the class of 73, and everyone is so sorry to hear. She always made sure you understood what she taught you, and that you had every chance to pass her class. Take care. Lots of love, Rob and Barbara (Stroud) Allan

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear Phyllis. I had the honour of knowing her as an esteemed colleague in the wonderful corps of FSL teachers in Hamilton. As you know, under the guidance of Morgan Kenney we were able to share our teaching experiences and learn new techniques from each other. Phyllis always came to meetings with wonderful ideas, humorous anecdotes and a generosity of sharing spirit. As a new teacher I appreciated her welcoming charm and after years of further association, I continued to learn from her. She was truly a "sage femme". Although she was a dedicated teacher, everyone knew that home and family were her first priority.
Sincerely,
Jane (Hodd) Reble
